Do you wish you had more confidence? It took many years for me to finally feel confident. The important thing is that I finally FEEL CONFIDENT. And I found that confidence by discovering my strengths, beliefs, and values.
I wish I would have known these things when I was young. (Ah, if we knew then what we know now…) Perhaps I would’ve developed an unapologetic sense of self sooner. I might have stood up for my beliefs instead of following others. I wouldn’t have felt like an outsider in school.
I am passionate about helping people develop confidence through self-knowledge. I want you to know who you are and be proud of that. Everyone makes different contributions to this world based on their individual talents, skills, style, passions, and personality.
Let’s discover ours.
And let’s start with our strengths. The next time you have a few minutes to talk with your family or close friend, ask them, “What do you think I do well?” Share what you think THEY do well.
This is a great conversation to have with your children. Discuss their strengths and your strengths, then talk about others. Ask: who do you know who is thoughtful? Who is a good teacher? Who shares with everyone? Who tells good stories? Who laughs a lot? Who plays a sport well? Who works hard? Who is a good artist? Who writes good stories? Who is patient? Who listens well?
No one person is better than another. We all have strengths that create our unique contribution to the world.
Molly Ketcham; Keynote Speaker
Molly has a passion for self-awareness. Self-awareness is about learning to better understand why you feel how you feel and why you behave in a certain way. Having this gives you the freedom to change, allowing you to create space for the life that you want. It is also the secret ingredient for building and maintaining relationships and boosting your confidence. The better you understand who you are, the easier it is to make connections.
